Tiny Tigers Feline Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the assistance and rescue of stray and feral cats and kittens. We offer assistance through a Trap-Neuter-Release program, low cost spay neuter information, rehabilitation of sick and injured animals, home placement through adoption of socialized cats and kittens, barn placement when appropriate and education regarding cat and kitten care.
We work with the caretakers of managed colonies to stabilize their colonies by providing spay and neuter as well as vaccinations for common feline diseases and rabies. Young kittens are taken into foster care to socialize for adoption.
We rescue cats and kittens from abandonment situations. Often these cats and kittens are sick or injured. They receive whatever veterinary care is needed to stabilize them and bring them to an optimal state of health. No healthy cat or kitten in our care is ever euthanized.
We do not have a dedicated shelter and we rely on foster care. Foster care provides individualized attention in a home environment to socialize cats and kittens who have had limited human contact.
Abandoned stray and feral cats and kittens are among the neediest animals in our society. They are domestic animals that have been left to fend for themselves in harsh circumstances. Tiny Tigers’ mission is to try and make a difference in the lives of these unfortunate victims.
It's hard to believe that it's been 2 years since our beloved Madeleine passed away. We miss her every day and work hard to keep Tiny Tigers an important part of the community. I thought it was about time for an update!

Things are Tiny Tigers are rolling along smoothly. We are, and hope to stay, a small operation that concentrates on helping local cats in need. We continue to work with our wonderful, caring, generous and supportive vet on a daily basis on some of our more complicated cases. This past year, our vet was simply amazing- caring for some really special and needy cats.

First, we were called to pick up a "wild" cat that seemed to be limping. When a volunteer arrived at the scene, she found what appeared to be a totally tame and beautiful Siamese cat. It was easy to see that this cat was quite injured as he could not put any weight on his hind leg at all. Although the outlook was initially grim, this boy (who we named Siam) had actually gotten his lucky break. After an intense surgery including the placement of an external fixator, he was up an walking again. As a Siamese cat, he was only on our website for about a month before he found his forever home. What a grateful boy he is! Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
Second, early last spring, we agreed to take in a litter of kittens that we knew were sick. But, always rooting for the underdog, we took a chance on them. What a ride! Out of the litter of 6, 3 of the kittens had a significant eye issue- a condition called entropion where the eye lashes actually grow into the eyes. These kittens all required eye surgery in order to make them more comfortable and to improve their quality of life. The surgery was a success! A fourth kitten, a solid black boy named Samwise, was found to be totally blind. After 5 months of intense foster care by our amazing vet-tech volunteer, Jennifer, I am happy to report that ALL of these kittens are living happily in wonderful homes. As a blind cat, Samwise needed a very special home. He found one- where he is thriving! and living among some GIANT dogs that he simply adores. He's totally adapted to life in the real world and rules the roost. We love a happy ending!
We love updates on our alumni and hope that this update finds you all enjoying your spring. Remember that your donation (no matter how small) is tax deductible. As always, thank you for your support and your kind words!
